Argos is both unique as a business and is one of the UK's most successful retailers. Its popularity is founded on the famous Argos catalogue, which is now in more British households than the Bible!

The Brief:

The long standing relationship with Argos has seen 'i-am' tackle and complete many diverse briefs including both brand related and experiential projects. 'i-am' created the 'Argos Extra' brand, developing new larger store formats to cope with ever increasing product lines, improved customer flow and streamlined the Argos shopping experience. 'i-am' also wrote, compiled and produced the Argos brand guidelines and worked on projects as diverse as point of sale execution to financial brand development.

The Solution:

The 'i-am' Innovation Process gave birth to a new way of thinking for Argos - a logical 'less is more' approach to store design and brand communications is now being introduced throughout the estate. The new 3-stage shopping process (Select, Order, Collect) now offers customers a simplified, logical and significantly improved shopping experience.

The Result:

The 'Argos Extra' brand has now been successfully rolled out and the easy to understand 3-stage shopping process is now visible in all Argos stores across the UK.
