Looking Ahead at Propel: Revisiting Last Year's Pub Industry Takeaways

As we head off to the Excellence in Pub and Bar Retailing Conference hosted by Propel, we are looking back at the MCA conference from last year and our take outs from that. It will be interesting to see if any of the themes and conversations are being discussed again, or if the emphasis and intent is changing. How have pubs stepped up to the industry challenges of falling footfall and lower spend and how is the target demographic changing?
Last year we heard that pubs should be all day destinations, acting as pillars of the community – the question was around how that can be done to meet the needs of varying customers. It will be great to listen to industry leaders, with whom we have partnered closely, to hear their views and the paths they will be taking throughout 2025.
